Hello, my name is Jean-Nicolas.
I was born and raised in Tahiti.
I went to France for my studies in 2015 and stumbled across West Coast Swing. I fell in love with the dance : the softness of the connection, the playfullness, the endless creativity and the intense energy. It was the beginning of an epic journey !
Living in Lyon, I learnt from Virginie Massart and Arnaud Perga. They taugh me everything, coached me and I even had the chance to teach with Virginie during 3 years at the dance school.
I wandered through Europe; learning, competing, performing routines and dancing all night long. I achieved the dream to become All-Star, and even placed 3rd in Rising Star in 2022.
In 2024 I went back home, in Tahiti, where I try to nurture and grow the community.
